Distance Errors with MultEQ XT

After running MultiEQ XT twice, each result determined the distance to the subwoofer at 17.9 feet, while in reality it is about 9 feet from the microphone position. The sub is at the rear of the room. What's happening here and should I accept the results or manually override them? Thanks.

MultEQ actually measures the signal delay. For the main speakers it is equivalent to the physical distance. But, subwoofers have filters in them that delay the signal more. So, this is equivalent to the subwoofer being further away. MultEQ sees that and corrects for it.
