I have a Denon 4520 with PSB Syncrony Ones and 2 Velodyne SC12's. My room is small ( 15w x 18L ) and my seating position is against the wall. When i calibrate, it take up to 14dbaway from my main speakers from 80hz and down. It then sets my xover on my mains at 40hx. The sound i get is total loss of bottom end. It almost sounds like the sub is out of phase. When i raise the xover to 80hz, it sounds much better and how it should be ( although i add 3-5db to my sub ) Is there a way to keep the calibration from pulling so much away from the main speakers?
